Children'S Hair Cuts With Bangs

Bangs can work for girls or boys.

Bangs can be a stylish addition to a haircut and an easy way to style a child's hair. Bangs can be added to both boys' and girls' cuts and can work with a number of different hairdos. All styles, from long to short, can benefit from a quick bang trim.

Long Hair

If your little girl loves long hair but you're looking for a way to keep the hair out of her eyes, consider giving her a basic bang cut to go with her long locks. Cutting bangs over the forehead will keep the hair off her face, even when her mane is very lenghty. Then, you can braid the hair into two long pigtails to keep the hair even more tidy.

Bowl Cut

The bowl cut refers to a type of boy's cut. It gets its name as it is typically obtained by placing a bowl on a child's head and cutting around the surface of the bowl. This type of perimeter cutting results in a blunt bang along the forehead. The cut can be used for both boys and girls, though it is typically more popular for little boys.

Side Bangs

Side bangs are a style of bang in which the hair is shortest in the middle of the scalp and gets longer as the hair moves toward the ear. This makes it easy to part the bangs and sweep them to the side. It can be an ideal way for a little girl to wear a bang without worrying about the hair getting in her face.

Pixie

The pixie cut refers to a short, cropped do given to girls. The style looks like a boy's cut; some celebrities who've worn this style are model Twiggy and actress Halle Berry. Little girls can wear this style with a short bang to match the shortness of the rest of the hair. This will work particularly well for girls who don't like long hair.
