Do Prom Hairstyles For Short Hair

Many people consider prom to be the best part of their high school experience. One part of preparing for prom that all girls go through is deciding a hair style. Girls with young hair seemingly have endless options when it comes to stying their hair whether they decide to leave their hair up or down. Those with shorter hair, however, are somewhat limited due to having less hair to work with. Here are some tips for prom hairstyles for short hair.

Instructions

1. Change the texture of your hair. If your hair is naturally curly, flat iron it. If it is naturally straight, use a curling iron to put some tight curls into it.

2. Have fun with accessories. Clip parts of your hair back with decorative barrettes or wear a tiara. These items take the focus off the length of your hair and emphasize the style of your hair on that particular night.

3. Mist spray glitter onto your hair to give it a subtle sparkle. Set the glitter with a light mist of medium-hold hairspray. Many girls will place similar glitter on their face and arms, as well.

4. Use a paste for texture and smoothing serum to place your hair differently. These products can be used to hold parts of your hair up or off to one side. Pastes and serums will also hold throughout the night even if you sweat, something that is very helpful for a long and fun night.

5. Consider extensions. Putting extensions in your hair is good option. The choices for styling with longer hair are endless, and it is a simple, temporary solution for your short hair.
