Wearing flowers in your hair is a quick and easy way to add elegance and style. You can wear them in any way, from casual to semi-formal to downright fancy. There are many kinds of flower clips available. The ones usually reserved for formal occasions are made from silk and other quality fabrics. The casual ones are most often simple faux flowers that have been attached to regular hair clips. Whichever kind you choose, pulling one off is simple and quick.
Instructions
1. Brush your hair to remove all tangles. Decide if you want to place the flower in your hair while it's down or up. If you want it up, simply pull your hair back before pinning the flower clip anywhere you prefer. If you want it down, make sure your hair is parted how you like.
2. Sweep up any 1 to 2 inch section of your hair with a comb, pulling it up and away from the face. A very popular place to do this is the section of hair above either ear. Use one hand to hold the piece of swept hair.
3. Secure the section of hair to your head with the flower clip. Make sure the clip holds the section tightly and doesn't droop when you take your hand away and release the weight of the flower. If the clip is too heavy, add a little bit more hair to the section.
