Tie Headwraps

Headwrap scarves are a stylish alternative to a baseball cap or headband.

Tying a headwrap in your hair is a fun way to spice up your wardrobe while protecting overworked or damaged hair. Headwraps are relatively inexpensive and you can find them in a variety of colors and designs. They are easy to tie after a moderate amount of practice.

Instructions

1. Lay your scarf flat across the back of your head, at the bottom. Hold the scarf so that you have an even amount of excess fabric available on each side of your head.

2. Pull the right side of the scarf up and across the front of your head. Repeat with the left side of the scarf. The left side of the scarf should cross the right side as you pull it toward the front of your head.

3. Continue to wrap the left side of the scarf all the way around the back of your head. Repeat with the right side.

4. Continue to wrap the two pieces of fabric all the way around the head until both reach the top of your forehead.

5. Tie the right and left sides of the fabric together on top of your head. Secure with bobby pins if necessary.
