How Should I Do My Hair For Boudoir Pictures

Boudoir photos evoke turn of the century postcards thought salacious at the time.

The image of a boudoir photo might conjure up a woman dressed in lingerie with delicately placed satin sheets, flowers and beautifully styled hair. Boudoir photos entice and tantalize without seeming crude. They are tastefully composed by the artistic flair of the photographer.

Long Hair Styles

Women with longer hair have a slight advantage, in that they can have their style manipulated in more ways. Long hair can be arranged in ringlets, waves, pinned up or let down. One suggestion would be to lie slightly turned toward one side and brush your hair across the sheets. Long wavy locks may look sensual and relaxed.

Shorter Hair Styles

Having shorter hair limits your choices to some degree, but there is always the option of extensions. If you choose to stay with the shorter look, try softening your hair. For example, if you normally wear your hair with a spiky look, try styling it more softly and around your face.

Medium Length Styles

Medium length hair looks fine extended or tied up. Small ringlets at the sides of your ears can feather down in a disarming way. Wearing flowers in your hair may also flatter you. Find flowers that compliment the tones of your hair and skin.
