Put Beads On A Hair Band

If you or your daughter would like to add some style to your hair accessories, consider putting beads on a hair band. With a little bit of glue, a plain hair band and some beads, you can create countless hair band styles. Whether you make something cute, something sophisticated or something elegant, you'll have a hair band that perfectly fits your style. These hair bands also make great gifts any time of year.

Instructions

Fashionable, Beaded Hair Bands

1. Select a hair band in a style that suits your tastes. Wide hair bands are a little easier to work with, but you can use these same techniques to decorate narrow headbands as well.

2. Plug in your hot glue gun and allow it to warm up.

3. Take the beads you plan to use to decorate the hair band and lay them out on the table in a pattern you like.

4. Use jewelry wire to string and shape small seed beads into shapes (if desired). Attach these to headband with hot glue. Glue larger beads directly to the hair band. It's easiest to work from the center of your pattern outwards toward each end of the hair band.
