2. Add 1 tbsp. of olive oil and one egg yolk to the cinnamon and stir well. The olive oil and egg yolk will help to distribute the cinnamon evenly through your hair, but will also add natural moisturizing elements to your lightening remedy.
3. Wet your hair and wring out the excess water. Comb your hair thoroughly to release any tangles. Apply the cinnamon mixture evenly to your hair from root to tip. You can comb through your hair again if necessary to help distribute the mixture.

However, if the curly hair isn't even near your chin, then smaller trims may be in order.
2. Wear your hair up in a ponytail or braids. Tuck the straight ends under or hide them with elastic bands. Try various styles, such as high and low ponytails, one long braid down the back or two French braids on the sides of your head. You can also experiment with other types of updo's, such as a chignon.
3. Use a curling iron on the ends when wearing your hair down. Be careful; hair that has been chemically treated with products like a relaxer, can be damaged. Applying excessive heat can make the damage even worse. Use a low to medium heat setting and loosely wrap your hair around the iron for about 10 seconds.

The Donut Bun

2. Place a dime size amount of glue on one end of the ribbon. Fold the ribbon over to form a circle and press down to attach the ends.
3. Fold the circle in half to find the midpoint. Place a dime size amount of glue on the inside of the ribbon circle and press down to form another connection point. You will now have two ovals. Glue the oval section together at the midpoint of each oval to repeat the process. This will form a looped bow.
4. Wrap a three- to four-inch piece of ribbon around the center of the bow to help hide the glue. Secure with a small amount of glue on the underside of the bow.
5. Place glue in a thin strip across the smooth top of the barrette. make sure to use a barrette made from plastic with no decorations, paint or objects on the top section. Place a thin strip of glue on the backside of the bow and press the bow to the barrette. Allow to dry before using.

1. Cut a piece of canvas that measures 2 inches by 25 inches. Place it vertically on your work surface.

Power Supply

Though pretty, these can be expensive. However, you can make hair barrettes at home for very little money. Children and teens can help to create their own original hair accessories that they can appreciate.
Instructions
1. Choose the kind of barrette base you want to use. There are simple barrettes that look like large metal clips, and spring barrettes that have a curved center piece that holds the hair in place with more tension.
2. Remove the curved spring piece by pushing up on the curve. Place it aside out of the reach of children and pets. Set out your decorations, separating ribbons and beads by color. Pull apart the silk flowers you like best by removing the green backing from each bloom.
3. Heat the glue gun and draw a bead of glue across the top of the barrette. Press the end of any ribbon into the glue and wrap the ribbon tightly and evenly across the barrette, overlapping it slightly to avoid gaps. Cut the ribbon at the end; add a dot of glue to secure the other end.
4. Cut a length of ribbon twice as long as the barrette and another length one inch shorter than the first. String both pieces of ribbon with beads. The beads should be in a pattern with complementary colors. The ribbons don't need to have the same pattern, but should share colors and similar beads.
5. Look for the holes on either end of the barrette. Tie one end of each ribbon to one hole, and the other end of each to the other hole. The ribbons should hang in a two-tiered swag from the barrette.
6. Layer two or more sets of flower petals by placing them on top of one another. Stack them from largest to smallest, and don't stack more than three. Add dots of glue between the layers to secure them. Glue the petals across the barrette so the holes and ribbon ends are covered.
7. Cut the green stems from the backs of the flower centers. Glue them to the centers of the flowers. No metal should be showing. Allow the barrette to dry for about half an hour before wearing it. You may also want to secure the ribbons in place with drops of glue.
Whether for Halloween, a costume party or just a crazy day of fun, wacky hair-dos can turn a frown upside down. You can turn your child's hair into something scary, witty or simply outrageous with a few styling tools from your local retail outlet.
For Medium Hair
Turn medium-length hair into a wacky do with a hairbrush, styling gel and a rubber band. Gel the hair with a heavy-duty styling product and braid small sections very tightly to create braided spikes sticking out all over. Section the hair off randomly to make the style even wackier. The source of corned beef is the brisket, which comes from the cow's breast area. The brisket usually weighs between 8 and 15 lbs. It is often cut into two parts, resulting in point and flat cuts of beef, which become corned beef after going through a salt brining process.
Flat Cut

You can attach hair bow streamers to ponytail holders for stylish flair. Female athletes, cheerleaders, and dance teams often wear coordinating hairbow streamers at games. Hairbow streamers also add a festive touch to your outfit at Halloween, Christmas or other holiday parties.
Instructions
1. Cut four to six pieces of ribbon about a foot long. You can use different colors and patterns to add visual interest.
2. Tie a bow with all of the ribbons except one. Sew the bow securely by making a few stitches in the center of the bow where all of the ribbon intersects. This will be the main focal point of the hairbow streamer.
3. Wrap the remaining ribbon around the hair elastic, and sew it to the back of the bow. Tug on the bow to make sure it's secure; if it loosens, sew a few more stitches.
4. Trim the ends of the ribbons so they are all the same length. For a sharper look, cut each end at an angle.
If you've just permed your hair, it's best to wait a few weeks before dyeing it.
Usually, hair processes that require a lot of chemicals, such as dyeing, perming or relaxing the hair, should not be done one after the other. It is best to wait at least two weeks in between dyeing and perming or relaxing your hair to do the other process. However, if you know your hair type and have a healthy regimen for it, you may be able to do both processes at home.
Instructions
Preparation
1. Do an allergy test by placing a bit of the prepared chemical on a patch of skin on the underside of your arm and leave it on for five minutes. If there is no reaction, it is safe to use.
2. Complete a strand test by removing a couple of strands of your hair and placing the chemical on it for the time indicated on the instructions. Do not do the dye strand test until you are ready to dye your hair.
3. Wash your hair thoroughly. Wrap your hair around the rollers that you choose to use. Choose a set of rolling rods that reflect the size of the curls you want. The smaller the rollers you choose, the tighter your curls will be.
Perming
4. Prepare the perm as indicated on the instructions. Start from the back and work your way to the front. Continue until all hair has been coated.
5. Set your timer and wait. If it starts to burn, you'll want to wash it out to avoid scabbing.
6. Wash out the solution and make sure you thoroughly remove the chemical from your scalp. After your hair is clean, pat it dry with a towel. Apply the neutralizer for the time indicated in the instructions.
7. Rinse out the neutralizer, and then remove the curling rods from your hair. Rinse your hair one more time to make sure all the chemicals are out of your hair.
8. Wait at least 24 hours before dyeing your hair. For best results, wait at least a week in between processes.
Dyeing
9. Prepare the hair color as instructed and place it on the strand of hair that was previously used for your strand test. Resection your hair and apply petroleum jelly to protect your scalp.
10. Apply the dye to your hair as instructed. Remember to start from the back and work your way to the front.
11. Set your timer. If you notice any skin irritation, stop immediately. After the dye has finished setting, rinse it out completely.
12. Pat your hair dry with a towel. Thoroughly apply your deep conditioner to your hair. Put on a shower cap and blow dry your head for ten minutes. Then rinse your hair and dry.
13. Style as usual, but be aware that after perming and dyeing, your hair will be extremely weak. Be gentle with your hair until its strength returns.

2. Trim the hair. Start underneath the top section of hair. Cut the hair out right where the hair meets the weft. Be certain not to trim the top of the hair. You want to leave the top layer of hair intact so it will cover the parts of hair you have cut and lay flat.
3. Trim another section. Repeat Step 2, remembering to leave a section of hair untouched in between each layer that you cut. Continue trimming the wig until you reach the desired thickness.

Eliminate the Damage

Rinse, then shampoo well and follow the treatment by your usual conditioner.
7. Take fish oil. Omega-3 fish oil has proteins that help keep your nails, brain, heart and hair healthy. They will strengthen and shine your strands. You can get bottles of Omega-3 fish oil in most grocery and drug stores. Take between 1,200 to 2,400 mg each day with a meal; however, consult with your medical doctor before taking any supplement to ensure there will be no medical interactions.
