Do Your Hair Like Hermione

Hermione Granger, top student at Hogwarts and best friend of Harry Potter, has been sporting a signature hairstyle since her first appearance in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Her long, messy locks can be easily re-created by following a few simple steps.

Instructions

Do Your Hair Like Hermione

1. Spray your hair with water until it is wet but not soaked. When hair is wet throughout, use a comb to part hair into four sections, separating each with a hair tie.

2. Carefully braid the first section, starting as high as you can and continuing to about half an inch away from the bottom. Resecure the braid with the hair tie that originally held the section. Repeat until all four sections are tightly braided and secured.

3. Lightly mist the braids with hair spray and wait for hair to air dry. This could take a couple of hours, so if you want to sport the hairstyle early in the morning, it might be best to do the braids at night and then sleep on them.

4. Remove all the hair ties after the braids have completely dried and gently shake them out with your fingers. Add extra hair spray to keep the style voluminous, teasing the roots with a comb if necessary.
