Start with a simple dress. The skirt should be floor length and the neckline must be modest enough to touch the neck. Add simple touches to the outfit, like a jeweled broach at the neckline or waist. Consider wrapping a sash around your waist. Once your hair and head are wrapped, add a few clips or barrettes that match the sash and broach to your head scarf.
Ornate
Create a long, modest dress using lace or jewels in the fabric. Pearls on the hem of a skirt can catch the light and make for a beautiful hijab wedding gown or outfit. The entire outfit can be covered with lace and beading if a lady wants to be creative with her ensemble. Instead of using a simple piece of cloth as a headwrap, she should collect her hair in a bun with many pieces of overlapping lace. They should be dense enough that no hair or skin shows through them. Pulling the lace over her ears and back to cover her hair, she can secure the lace with a jeweled clip. Once that is done, a bride can add a veil of any color to distinguish her from attendants and guests. Attaching it under the hijab on her head will allow it to trail down the back of her dress and float behind her as she walks toward her groom.
