Style Hair For A Wedding

Style Hair for a Wedding

Your wedding day is a very special event, perhaps the most special event of your lifetime. Everything must be in impeccable order, including the hairstyle chosen for the bride-to-be. There are many variations of hairstyles, so trying different hairstyles before the big day can help you decide which hairstyle looks the best with your dress and face shape. Here are instructions for the French Twist, one of the most popular and most attractive bridal hairstyles for a wedding.

Instructions

1. Take all of your hair into your hands and twist it until your have one "rope" of hair. Extend the hair "rope" perpendicular to your head, and flip the end so that it is facing upwards. As you twist the hair, sweep any loose or stray hairs into the "rope" so that the end result is a sleek and sophisticated hairstyle.

2. Turn the right, outside edge so that it is tucked in the left side. Smooth the hair as you go, using bobby pins to secure the hair. Avoid placing the bobby pins too deep against the scalp, or the scalp will become sore after a period of time.

3. Keep securing the hair with bobby pins until the hair is smooth and polished. Using a hairbrush, smooth any stray hairs and tuck them into place.

4. Finish with a spray of hairspray to hold it in place.

5. Tuck fresh, dried, or silk flowers into the updo for added elegance.
