Use Hot Rollers In Long Hair

Use Hot Rollers in Long Hair

Hot rollers are activated by either heat coils or steam. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but the larger ones work best for long hair. Hot rollers are actually more convenient to use than a curling iron because they allow you to get curly locks while engaging in other activities simultaneously. Once you've applied the hot rollers to your long hair, you can put on makeup or make dinner while the curls set.

Instructions

1. Make sure your hair is completely dry and ready to be rolled. If you have just washed your hair, blow dry it fully before beginning. Meanwhile, place the rollers to be heated.

2. Section your long hair into three different parts: the top, sides and bottom. This is essential for long hair as it will make the application of hot rollers much easier and more convenient. The top includes any bangs you may have and the hair around the crown of your head, the sides include all the hair around the ears and the bottom includes all the hair below the ears. Separate each section with a comb and clip apart with a bobby pin.

3. Take a 1-inch wide strand of hair and spritz it lightly with hairspray. Take one hot roller and place it at the root of the hair. Begin to roll the hair inward toward your scalp and secure. Spritz the rolled hair with hair spray.

4. Continue Step 3 on all strands of hair until all three sections have been rolled with the hot rollers.

5. Wait until the hot rollers have completely cooled off and then remove them from your long hair.

6. Flip your hair upside down and give it a good shake. Use your fingers to style and comb the curls into place. Spritz your entire head lightly with hairspray to hold the curls in place.
