An S-Curl taper is a wave hairstyle popular with African-American men. This fashionable style looks like a wave going through the hair. Instructions
1. Style an S-Curl when your hair is a long (at least a couple inches from your scalp) and is dry. Massage the hair that you plan on curling.
2. Thoroughly add the hair cream throughout your hair. There are special S-Curl creams that you can find in specialty stores and the Internet. Towel off the cream that gets on your skin.
3. Keep applying in your hair until it is thoroughly worked in. Use your fingers to squeeze together the hair in an S-Curl formation. Keep combing to make sure the style is secure.
4. Comb the cream through your hair and be certain that each side has the same appearance. Get at the hair down to the root. Enjoy your tapered S-Curl.
