Use Egg Whites To Make A Mohawk Stiff

Getting stiff mohawk spikes is possible with egg whites.

Egg whites aren't just used for cooking and baking. Egg whites can be used to make mohawk spikes stand straight up. You could use commercial hair-styling products, or you can use your own recipe made with egg whites, which is inexpensive and eco-friendly for the environment and your hair. The best part is that you can make the mixture yourself and apply it anywhere you may happen to be when you need those pointy spikes to stand upright.

Instructions

1. Whisk two egg whites together. Add 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar to the mix, and keep whisking the egg whites rapidly until they are stiff.

2. Scoop up some egg whites, and rub both hands together to coat each one. Place your hands together with the hair on the top of the head in between them, and move your hands upward from the roots to the ends to coat the hair. Repeat this process until all the hair is coated. Wash and dry your hands when finished.

3. Bend over so the hair is hanging down. Turn a hair dryer on high heat. Hold the blow dryer in one hand, and pull downward on the hair with the other hand. Continue this process until all the egg whites are dry and stiff.

4. Stand up straight, and pull upward on any strands of hair that need a little extra drying time. Keep the hair dryer set on high.
