Feel Pretty While Pregnant

When you are pregnant, your body undergoes several different changes. Due to the changes in your body, especially as you and the baby grow bigger, you may begin to feel unattractive and big. Hormones don’t help with the emotions either. Pregnancy gives you the perfect reason to pamper yourself and make yourself feel pretty.


Instructions


1. Give yourself a manicure and pedicure. Remove your old nail polish with nail polish remover and let your hands and feet soak in containers of warm, soapy water. After a little while, push your cuticles back with a cuticle stick and rub some lotion on your hands and feet. Choose your favorite color nail polish and paint your fingernails and toenails.


2. Relax with a bath. Take a bubble bath with your favorite bubble bath scent or salts. Turn on some relaxing music and light some candles if you are in the mood. Sit back and enjoy the music.


3. Buy some new clothes. Buy a few new outfits, including a dress outfit and a casual outfit. The dress outfit can be a maternity dress or a maternity skirt and shirt. The casual outfit can consist of a few cute maternity tops and a pair of maternity jeans or capris. Save money by choosing items that are on sale and don’t go crazy buying too many things.


4. Go shoe shopping. During pregnancy, many women experience swollen ankles or feet, which can make shoes you own uncomfortable to wear. Go to your local shoe store or department store and pick out a pair of dress shoes (to go with your dress outfit) and a pair of comfortable shoes to go with your casual outfit. Save money by choosing shoes that are on sale.


5. Take a maternity exercise class. Exercise is great for your body, whether pregnant or not. With a maternity exercise class, you can get exercise and build friendships as well. You will enjoy being around other pregnant mothers who share similar feelings and experiences.


6. Get ready every morning. When you are pregnant, you get tired quickly and sometimes you just don’t feel like taking a shower and doing your hair and makeup in the morning. If you stick with the routine of showering, doing your hair, and doing your makeup in the mornings, you’ll feel much prettier throughout the day.


7. Get a haircut. Try something different and get a new haircut. Not only will it feel good to have someone wash your hair and massage your head, but you’ll leave with a new look as well. Be sure to speak up if you don’t like how the stylist is cutting your hair.
