Hide The Bobby Pins In An Updo

Updos can be worn casual or elegant. You can see the hairstyle being worn by brides, prom queens, secretaries and classroom teachers. In order to achieve the look of an updo, you need a tool to hold all of that hair in place. One such tool is the classic bobby pin. When placing bobby pins in your hair, they can easily be seen. However, there are some tips that you can use to hide them which will result in a flawless updo that is admired by others.

Instructions

1. Use bobby pins that are closest to your hair color. If you have black hair, use black bobby pins. If you have brown hair, use the brown ones.

2. Place the bobby pins vertically instead of horizontally. By placing the pins vertically, you can discreetly tuck them down in the bun or updo. When placing the bobby pins vertically, the tips of the pins are likely to be seen.

3. Use a fancy hair embellishment, such as crystal barrettes or flowers, to cover up the bobby pin. To do this, simply place your bobby pin in your hair. Clip the embellishment to hair that is located directly above the bobby pin.

4. Leave loose hair at the top of your updo or bun. After placing the bobby pins in your hair, you can manipulate the loose hair so that it "Falls" over the bobby pins." If you are going to do a Fall, you might want to curl it to give it some style so it will look as elegant as the rest of your updo. Otherwise, it might appear that your hair is just going wild.
