Help your kids get wavy locks without the price of a perm.
If your kids are begging you for the great wavy hair they weren't blessed with, you may think getting them a perm -- or a wave perm -- may be a little too permanent and expensive. Instead, there is a trick that you can do to give your kids the perfect waves they want. And the best part about this homemade wave remedy is that when they take a shower the waves simply wash out.
Instructions
1. Pour warm water into a plastic, clean spray bottle. Fill the bottle to about 3 inches below the rim.
2. Add 3 tbsp. sea salt to the water.
3. Pour 2 tbsp. of olive or coconut oil to the water. Olive and coconut oil are not only for shine, but they will also work to prevent the hair from drying out and keep the hair moisturized.
4. Twist the spray nozzle cap on the bottle and shake.
5. Spray your kid's hair with the sea salt solution until the hair is damp. Use your hands to scrunch the hair, then allow the hair to dry and watch the waves form.
