A bride will select many items to outfit her for her wedding day--dress, shoes and veil. She already has one accessory in her possession--her hair. Wedding hairstyles are as varied as brides. Celebrities have provided inspiration for many hairstyles, easily interpreted with just a few pins and some hairspray.
Loose Braid
The loose braid can signify romance. On wet hair, apply a scrunching mousse, then let your hair air dry. Part your hair in the center, make two French braids, secure them with elastic and apply a shine mist.
French Twist
The French Twist is achieved by curling dry hair and pinning half to one side of your neck. Take the rest of hair in bunches and pin them to the side, twisting each bunch. Let the rest of your hair fall into a ponytail, then spray your whole head with hairspray.
Flower Updo
On dry hair, separate a top section and pull it into a high ponytail, spraying it with hairspray. Make a second ponytail below the first. Separate small sections from the base of the second ponytail and curl the sections with a 1-inch curling iron. Secure the curls with bobby pins, letting the ends fall free. Repeat the process until the lower ponytail is completely curled and pinned, then repeat the steps with the top section. Add in flowers.
Sweet Waves
Separate dry hair with a comb, and put the top of your hair into a clip, leaving one section of hair at nape of neck. Spray that section with hairspray. Curl small sections of the hair with a 1-inch curling iron. Pin the curls into place and repeat the process for whole head, then spray with hairspray. Wait 30 minutes, unpin the curls and comb the hair gently.
Shorter Hair, No Cutting Involved
Pull the top of the hair into a clip. Take 2-inch sections of the rest of your hair, fold them toward root and secure them with pins. Continue this process for the entire bottom section of your hair. Unclip the top part of hair, roll the ends underneath the pinned bottom sections and secure them with more pins. Apply hairspray.
