Remove Green Tone From Blonde Hair

Remove Green Tone From Blonde Hair

If you have blonde hair, you may notice that if you swim in a chlorinated swimming pool, your hair becomes discolored. The same tint of green can also appear when your hair has been exposed to too much sunlight. Before you try a drastic procedure such as dyeing your hair or purchasing a chemical product to rid the hair of the green tint, consider a home remedy.

Instructions

1. Lean over a sink or tub and spread about 3 cups of ketchup over the entire surface of your hair. You may need more ketchup if you have long or thick hair.

2. Comb the ketchup into your hair with the comb to distribute it evenly. Leave it in for about 30 minutes.

3. Rinse the ketchup out of your hair with cold water.

4. Shampoo your hair as normal, taking care to remove the ketchup completely. Rinse your hair again.

5. Dry your hair as you usually would do, and check for a green tint. If there is still a slight tint of green in your hair, repeat the process.
