Do Hippie Hair

Do Hippie Hair

Many girls want to recreate the casual, ethereal style from the late 60s era. Hippie hair is relatively easy to create, no matter what type of hair you have. However, long hair is best for this look, since hippie girls were known for their long locks. Using a few simple tools, you can transform your hair into a hippie style.

Instructions

1. Pull the top half of your hair into a big hair clip. You'll start on the bottom section of your hair first.

2. Turn on a waving iron and wait for it to heat up.

3. Take a 1-1/2-inch section of the bottom hair and clamp the waving iron down on the hair closest to the scalp. Only clamp down for two seconds, then unclamp the waving iron and move down to clamp it on the next portion of hair. Keep moving down and clamping with the iron until the entire piece of hair is in waves.

4. Repeat Step 3 until the entire bottom section of hair is waved.

5. Take down the top half of your hair from the clip and use the waving iron in the same way.

6. Make a part down the center of your scalp.

7. Place a thin elastic headband on top of your head and pull it down onto your forehead.

8. Use hair spray to hold the look.
