Pin Up A Half Hairdo

Pinning up a half hairdo is an option for those that wear their hair in a bob or for people who want to keep long hair away from the faces without putting all of the hair up in a ponytail or bun. When pinning up a half hairdo, one must be sure to secure half of the hair in the back of the head while still keeping the entire hairstyle clean looking and polished.

Instructions

1. Blow dry hair completely.

2. Mist a light hold hair spray throughout the hair. This will help keep half hairdo in place for a long period of time.

3. Brush the hair from root to tip to smooth the hair spray through the hair and to release any knots or tangles.

4. Use one hand to begin brushing the hair from the front to the back. At this time, you should decide if you would like the hair to be parted or brushed straight back from the hairline.

5. Use your other hand to hold the hair from half of the head that will be pinned up.

6. Continue to brush all of the hair to the hand that is holding the half hairdo until you have smoothed it all into one place.

7. Use both of your hands to begin to twist the half hairdo section toward your head. This will help to secure the hairstyle into place.

8. Hold the hair down with one hand and use your opposite hand to open a bobby pin and press it through the section.

9. Add several bobby pins around the twisted section until you are sure that it is secure and you can release your hand from the section. You should add enough bobby pins so that the section does not move but the pins should not be visibly sticking out of the section of hair.

10. Mist the light hold hairspray around the hairstyle to add additional hold.
