Treat Damaged Black Hair With Home Remedies & Natural Products

Damaged black hair can be treated with home remedies and natural products

Excessive perming and hair coloring and prolonged exposure to heat from styling tools can damage African-American hair. In addition, tight rubber bands or other hair accessories can cause breakage. Home remedies and natural products can help heal damaged hair.

Instructions

1. Apply coconut, almond or olive oil to your scalp. This is one of the best methods to treat damaged and dry hair and keep it moisturized.

2. Use eggs or mayonnaise treatments to strengthen and moisturize damaged hair. Combine two eggs and a half cup of honey in a small bowl and apply throughout your freshly-shampooed hair. Leave in for 30 minutes and rinse and shampoo. For a mayonnaise treatment, coat from roots to the hair ends and massage well. Leave in your hair for 30 minutes and rinse and shampoo.

3. Heat cocoa butter in the microwave and apply to the roots of your hair. Then let the cocoa butter stay in your hair 10 minutes before shampooing and conditioning. This treatment restores natural luster to damaged hair.
