Make Curly Hair Last Through Homecoming

In order to make your curls last, you must apply a generous amount of hairspray. When hairspray dries, it holds the hair strands together and makes the curls maintain their shape. Apply the hairspray to the hair once you've already curled your hair for the best holding effect.

Instructions

1. Hold the hairspray can a foot away from the curls. Hairspray is designed to keep the strands from sticking together but, if you hold the can too close, the spray will be thick and will cake onto the hair too much.

2. Press the button on the top of the can to release the hairspray. Spray in a constant stream all over the head to cover every single curl.

3. Allow the hairspray time to dry and apply a second layer of hairspray to ensure the curls don't budge an inch.
