Shave Your Face Without Cutting Yourself

Shave Your Face Without Cutting Yourself

Cutting your face while shaving is an annoying consequence of male grooming. The good news is that with a few precautions you can minimize the number of cuts you receive.

Instructions

1. Buy a high quality razor blade and replace your blade often. A sharper blade will allow you to get a close shave without discomfort. If the blade is too dull, your skin can get irritated, and you won't be able to get a close shave.

2. Apply shaving cream to your face and the top part of your neck.

3. Begin shaving with downward strokes starting at the top of your beard line. Do not push too hard on the skin or shave too quickly, or you may cut yourself.

4. Rinse your razor blade with warm water every few strokes. This cleans your razor blade and helps achieve a close shave.

5. Avoid shaving over your acne. Wait until the acne heals before you shave over it.

6. Wash your face with a towel to remove any excess shaving cream. Apply aftershave.
