Use Egg Whites To Curl Your Hair

Homemade egg white mousse is fun and easy to make.

Whip egg whites into a homemade mousse, then apply them to your hair to help create and hold curl. Making your own hair products can save you money and protect you from harsh chemicals.

Instructions

1. Let two eggs stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Separate both eggs and pour the whites into a clean, dry bowl. Discard the egg yolks or store them separately. Beat the egg whites with an electric mixer on medium speed until stiff peaks form.

2. Slowly pour in 1/2 cup of coconut oil and continue to mix. Add 1 teaspoon of rose, lavender, or hyacinth fragrance and 2 vitamin E capsules; continue to mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

3. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.

4. Wash hair and towel dry. Apply the homemade mousse by hand and distribute it evenly through the hair, concentrating on the roots and working out to the ends.

5. Blow dry hair or let air dry. Curl hair using hot rollers or a curling iron.
