Instant Moisturizer can add shine and moisture to your dreadlocks.
Care Free Curl is a well-known African American haircare product line made by Soft Sheen Carson. The line includes instant moisturizers and instant curl activators. Though these products are designed for curly hair and not for individuals with locs, the instant moisturizer can be useful for adding moisture to your locs without creating a wet or greasy look.
Instructions
1. Wash your hair before putting any products in it. With locs, products can easily build up and form a caked or flaky appearance. Towel dry your hair.
2. Pour a nickel-sized amount of the Care Free Curl Instant Moisturizer into your palm. Rub your hands together to evenly spread it onto both hands.
3. Rub three to four locs between your palms, to distribute the moisturizer. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you have covered your entire head with the product.
4. Reapply the moisturizer as needed.
